The "couins" have recently placed this marker at St. Vincent's Cemetery, west of Riverside, Iowa. For over 100 years "our" Aunt has not had a marker noting her existance. She was buried NOT here at St. Vincent's. but rather at St. Stanislaus Cemetery north of Riverside. Her Grandfather Martin Birrer made the arrangements for her burial and that is where he and his wife were later buried. Her grave was never marked and was NOT recorded in the cemetery records, so when her parents tried to locate her grave in the 1950s it could not be done. The cousins discussed purchasing and installing a marker for several years. A committee was formed and money was collected. They did "GOOD"!! The marker is placed directly in front of her parents' stone. May she rest in peace. Our Grandparents and all our parents are surely pleased with us.
